The G# to G change

August 5, 2020 jfiegen

I’ve seen some interest in using the G# to G change found on some E9 PSGs, so here’s one possible use for it. The advantage I find is being able to stay on the same string set for the whole scale. also, the last pass uses the 7th string as well as 8,6,5, adding a little jazzier sound to it. https://secureservercdn.net/45.40.150.136/c79.47b.myftpupload.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/G-TO-G-CHANGE.mp3
